Exfoliating is key to keeping pain levels low. Removing dead skin ensures that no build-up can cause additional discomfort. Don't let pain hold you back - exfoliate for a pain-free experience.
Erikas Secret Scrub is a salt scrub designed to get all the dead skin off the surface. Ask for a sample or to purchase ($25)
Apply Erika's Secret Serum to help moisturize the skin and aid in healing. If this is your first time just apply a gentle moisturizer or send me a message to pick a sample of the serum up!

No Sun/Tanning
Please avoid sun exposure 24-48 hours before treatment to prevent skin damage and lifting.
PUT THE TRIMMER DOWN
When coming for a visit, please refrain from trimming so that I can take care of all the hairs properly. I will trim it if necessary.
Length
hair has to be the size of a grain of rice. So make sure you don't shave for 2-4 weeks

Please do not touch the waxed area unless your hands are clean. Must be careful for 24 hours.
Erika's Secret Serum & Scrub
Erika's Secret Serum and Scrub is designed to help aid in your waxing experience. You can use them separate or together for best results.
The Secret Serum helps to eliminate odor, moisturize and prevent ingrowns from forming.
The Secret Scrub is a salt based scrub. This scrub removes dead skin, brightens and smoothes.
No physical activity for 24 hours
Engaging in physical activity, including exercise or sexual activity, can introduce bacteria into open follicles, potentially causing infection.
No Soaking in water
Avoid water activities for 24 hours after treatment, except for showering.
These can sometimes harbor bacteria which can cause an infection or worse.
Be aware that sand from the beach can cause an exfoliating effect that may irritate the waxed area.
Exfoliate / Hydrate
Exfoliating 2-3 times a week with a scrub is important for proper hair growth. Dead skin on the waxed area can cause irritation and itchiness.
No Sun / Vajacial
No tanning for 48 hours.
Sitting in the sun after a freshly waxed area will cause hyperpigmentation and or redness/ irritation.
Vajacials can help prevent ingrown hair and are recommended for those with thicker, coarser hair.
